Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Changi Point and Delta Circus.
On 14th November 1975, amended to New Upp Changi Rd.
On 11th November 1979, amended to Delta Fringe Car Park.

Its route was:
Changi Village Terminal, Loyang Ave/Way, Upp Changi Rd, Bedok Rd, New Upp Changi Rd, Geylang Rd, Kallang Rd, Crawford St, Beach Rd, (Bras Basah Rd, Nicoll Highway), Connaught Dr, Collyer Quay, Raffles Quay, Shenton Way, Cantonment Link, Cantonment Rd, Outram Rd, Tiong Bahru Rd, Zion Rd, River Valley Rd, (Delta Rd, Alexandra Rd), Delta Terminal.

Withdrawn on 5th November 1989.

Service 2Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Changi Point and Commonwealth Avenue/North Buona Vista Road.
On 14th November 1975, amended to New Upp Changi Rd.
On 28th December 1980, amended to Jln Bt Merah in both directions, skipping Outram Rd, Tiong Bahru Rd, Henderson Rd.
In 1981, amended to Buona Vista Ter.
On 29th November 1992, shortened to New Bridge Rd.
Became partial air-con with replacing Mercedes-Benz OF1413 into O405 DM in 1993, and also Leyland Olympian 3-Axles were introduced into that route.
In 1994, amended to ply Kallang Rd, Victoria St, Hill St, New Bridge Rd & Eu Tong Sen St (towards New Bridge Rd Ter), skipping Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, South Bridge Rd, Neil Rd & Eu Tong Sen St.
Became fully air-con in 1998.

Service 3Edit

Re-numbered from Service 1A on 3rd February 1974, as a service between Changi Point and Delta Circus.
On 25th February 1979, shortened to Bedok. At the same time, shortened to New Bridge Rd and converted to a semi-express service.
The express sector was along Geylang Rd, Guillemard Rd, Nicoll Highway, Connaught Dr and Stamford Rd towards New Bridge Rd; Victoria St, Bras Basah Rd, Nicoll Highway, Guillemard Rd, Lor 22 Geylang, Aljunied Rd and Sims Ave towards Bedok.
On 27th November 1983, the express sector was shortened to Changi Rd (after Still Rd) and Geylang Rd (before Mountbatten Rd) and proceed via Kallang Rd, Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, South Bridge Rd, Neil Rd and New Bridge Rd. At the same time, merged with Service 6.
Return trip via New Bridge Rd, Hill St, Victoria St, Kallang Rd followed by express sector along Sims Ave between Geylang Lor 1 and Jln Eunos.
On 12th January 1986, converted to full air-con service and normal trunk service.
On 26th January 1987, extended to Jurong East via Jln Bt Merah, Queensway, Commonwealth Ave, Commonwealth Ave West, Boon Lay Way and Jurong East Central. At the same time, amended to Upp Cross St and New Bridge Rd, skipping Neil Rd.
Withdrawn on 6th January 1991.

Re-introduced on 7th April 2002 as a service between Tampines and Pasir Ris St 71 (loop), with the merger of Service 294 and Townlink 357.
On 19th October 2003, extended to loop at Punggol Central.
On 30th November 2003, amended to Punggol Temp Int.

Service 4Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Changi Point and Lloyd Leas Estate (loop).
Withdrawn on 3rd February 1974.

Re-introduced in 1979 as a service between Bedok and Moulmein Rd (loop).
On 31st July 1988, extended to St. Michael's Ter via Moulmein Rd.
In 1990, merged with Service 19 and extended to Pasir Ris.
On 29th November 1992, shortened to Tampines Int.

Its route was:
St Michael's Ter, Whampoa Rd, Jalan Bahagia, Kim Keat Rd, Balestier Rd, Thomson Rd, Moulmein Rd, Balestier Rd, (Serangoon Rd), Boon Keng Rd, Geylang Lor 1, Sims Ave, Sims Ave East, New Upp Changi Rd, Bedok Nth Ave 3, Bedok Reservoir Rd, Tampines Ave 1, Ave 5, (Ctrl 1 and 2), Tampines Int.

And return via Tampines Int, (Tampines Ctrl 1 and 2), Tampines Ave 5, Ave 1, Bedok Reservoir Rd, Bedok Nth Ave 3, New Upp Changi Rd, Changi Rd, Geylang Rd, (Kallang Rd), Geylang Lor 1, Boon Keng Rd, Bendemeer Rd, Balestier Rd, Moulmein Rd, Thomson Rd, Balaestier Rd, Whampoa Dr, Jalan Bahagia, Whampoa Rd, St Michael's Ter.

On 23rd May 1993, merged with Service 21 & 67 and withdrawn.

Re-introduced on 17th March 2013 as a service between Tampines and Changi North Way via Flora Rd, under the LTA's Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Upper Changi Road to Commonwealth Ave/North Buona Vista Road.
In 1973, extended to terminate at Upper Bukit Timah Road.
On 3rd February 1974, shortened to Chai Chee.
In 1977, shortened to Lor 1 Geylang.
On 1st June 1986, extended to Zhenghua Ter.
On 11th October 1987, amended to Bukit Panjang Ter.
On 3rd May 1992, amended to ply Holland Ave, C'wealth Ave, Margaret Dr, Alexandra Rd, Lower Delta Rd, Jln Bt Merah, Kampong Bahru Rd and Eu Tong Sen St, skipping Queensway, C'wealth Ave, Alexandra Rd, Ganges Ave and Havelock Rd.
Handed over to TIBS on 17th September 1995.

Re-introduced on 11th March 2007 as a service between Pasir Ris and Bukit Merah.
On 28th August 2011, with the partial closure of Kaki Bukit Ave 1 due to the Downtown MRT Line construction works, this service was amended to Jln Tenaga & Jln Damai.

Introduced on 20th June 1978 as a semi-express service between Bedok Interchange and New Bridge Rd (loop).
On 27th November 1983, merged with Service 3 and withdrawn.

Re-introduced in 1993 as a service between Pasir Ris and Loyang Cres (loop).
On 20th December 2004, amended to ply Loyang Way and Loyang Ave.

Service 7Edit

Introduced on 11th March 1979 as a semi-express service between Bedok Interchange and Holland Rd Fringe Car Park (Dempsey Rd), replacing Blue Arrow Service 307.
In 1982, extended to Clementi.
On 6th January 1985, extended to Jurong East Ctrl.
On 30th June 1985, amended to Jurong East Int.
On 29th August 1985, converted to trunk service.
On 7th April 1991, shortened to Clementi Int. At the same time, amended to Clementi Ave 5, skipping Commonwealth Ave West and Clementi Ave 2.

Route was amended to ply:
Direction 1:
Guillemard Rd, Mountbatten Rd, Geylang Rd, Kallang Rd, Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, Stamford Rd instead of Guillemard Rd, Nicoll Highway, Stamford Rd.

Direction 2:

Introduced on 26th February 1979 as a semi-express service between Bedok Interchange and Shenton Way.
In 1987, amended to Marina Centre.
Withdrawn on 6th November 1989.

Re-introduced on 1st March 1990 as an air-conditioned service between Pasir Ris and Toa Payoh.
In 1992, shortened to Tampines.
On 18th September 1995, amended to Tampines Ave 10 (express) and Bedok North Rd.
On 4th September 2011, skips one bus stop after Moonstone Lane along Serangoon Rd due to the closure of Whampoa North.

Service 9Edit

Introduced in 1978 as a service between Lor 1 Geylang and Changi Point.
On 25th June 1983, merged with Service 391 and 395 and amended to loop at Changi Airport Cargo Complex.
On 10th April 1988, amended via Upp Changi Rd East, Simei Rd, Tampines St 31, Ave 2, Ave 7, Loyang Ave, skipping Bedok Rd, Upp Changi Rd and Loyang Way in both directions.
On 29th November 1992, shortened to Bedok Int.
On 15th November 1995, amended to ply Simei Estate.

Its amended route was:
Direction 1:
Upper Changi Rd East, Simei Ave, Simei St 3, Simei Rd instead of Upper Changi Rd East, Simei Rd.

On 27th April 1984, extended to Tampines Ave 5. Double deckers were introduced.
On 29th November 1987, amended to Tampines Int.
On 1st July 1990, shortened to Clementi Int.
In 1994, amended to ply the following:

Mountbatten Rd, Tg Katong Rd, Dunman Rd, Old Airport Rd, Mountbatten Rd instead of serving the full stretch of Mountbatten Rd.

Service 11Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Bedok Rd/Upp Changi Rd and Tanjong Pagar Rd.
On 23rd October 1977, amended to New Bridge Rd.
Relocated twice to Upp Changi Rd 13.3km and 15.5km.
On 15th June 1980, amended to Somapah Ter.
Upon completion of the New Bridge Rd Terminal on 6th June 1987, amended to use the new terminal instead of temporary roadside bus stops along New Bridge Rd.
Withdrawn on 23rd October 1988.

Re-introduced on 14th April 1990 as a service between Lor 1 Geylang and Kallang Park/National Stadium (loop).
In 1992, amended to ply Mountbatten Rd, (Nicoll Highway), Stadium Rd, Stadium Boulevard, Mountbatten Rd, skipping Mountbatten Rd, Stadium Boulevard; U-turn at roundabout and return via Stadium Boulevard, Mountbatten Rd.
In 2002, amended to Stadium Rd, Stadium Walk, Stadium Boulevard.
On 26th June 2005, amended to Sims Way.

Its amended route was:
Direction 1:

On 3rd February 1974, extended to Upp Changi Rd.
On 22nd February 1974, half of the section (Orchard Rd) and (Tanglin Rd) was replaced by (Orchard Blvd) and (Grange Rd) respectively with the Orchard Rd being converted into one way.
On 18th August 1975, amended to Chai Chee.
On 7th March 1977, extended to Ghim Moh.
On 8th September 1985, extended to Bedok with the closure of Chai Chee Terminal.
On 12th April 1987, shortened to start from Eunos instead of Bedok.
On 5th November 1989, amended to terminate at Yio Chu Kang with the withdrawal of Service 20. Converted to full air-con.
On 10th December 1989, amended to Eunos Bus Interchange.
On 2nd September 1990, amended to ply Bishan St 22.
In 1998, extended to Marine Parade Ter when Service 15 was amended, via Marine Cres & Marine Terr.
On 16th September 2001, amended to loop at Siglap Link with the closure of Marine Parade Terminal.
On 9th December 2001, extended to terminate at Upp East Coast Terminal.
On 4th August 2002, boarding and alighting was allowed at Upp East Coast Terminal.

Service 14Edit

Introduced on 3rd February 1974 as a service between Upp Changi Rd and Mei Chin Rd. Renumbered from Service 13A.
On 2nd December 1979, extended to Jln Bt Merah via Napier Rd, Holland Rd, Queensway, Jln Bt Merah, Henderson Rd & Bt Merah Ctrl and at the same time, skipping Mei Chin Rd.
Relocated twice to Upp Changi Rd 13.3km and 15.5km.
On 15th June 1980, amended to Somapah Bus Terminal.
On 28th September 1980, amended to Bukit Merah Int.
On 23rd October 1988, extended to Changi Village Terminal, with the closure of Somapah Terminal.
Introduction of Scania N113CRB replacing Volvo B57 on 3rd March 1990.
On 29th March 1992, amended to serve Bt Merah Central and at the same time, shortened to terminate at Bedok Interchange.
On 23rd May 1993, merged with Service 92 and extended to Clementi Interchange instead of Tanglin Rd/Orchard Blvd. At the same time, skipped National Stadium. Deleted sectors were also covered by Service 123.

Service 15Edit

Introduced on 22nd June 1975 as a service between Marine Terrace and Prince Edward.
On 4th June 1976, extended to loop at Shenton Way.
On 16th September 1984, merged with Service 196 and withdrawn.

Re-introduced on 18th September 1995 as a service between Pasir Ris and Eunos, with the opening of Temasek Polytechnic.
In 1997, it merged with service M4 and extended to Marine Parade.
On 28th August 2011, with the partial closure of Kaki Bukit Ave 1 due to the Downtown MRT Line construction works, this service was amended to Jln Tenaga & Jln Damai.

On 6th September 1998, shortened to Marine Parade Terminal, with the conversion of Service 36 to a full-day trunk service.
On 16th September 2001, amended to loop at Siglap Link with the closure of Marine Parade Terminal.
In Feb 2002, amended to ply Stadium Walk/Cres due to construction of Circle Line.
On 19th August 2007, extended to Bedok Bus Interchange via Upper East Coast Rd, Bedok South Ave 1, Bedok South Rd & Bedok North Ave 1.
On 29th September 2010, amended to Mountbatten Rd skipping bus stops along Stadium Blvd, Stadium Cres, Stadium Rd & Stadium Walk due to the construction of Singapore Sports Hub.

Service 16EEdit

Introduced on 1st February 1994 as a one-directional semi-express peak-hour service between Bt Merah and Changi Airport (runs express along ECP) and operates during weekday peak hours.
In Dec 1997, re-numbered to Service 36.

Service 17Edit

Introduced on 22nd February 1981 as a service between Changi Point and Prince Edward Road.
Withdrawn on 8th April 1984.

Re-introduced in 1993 as a service between Pasir Ris and Bedok.
Became loop service in 2003.

Service 18Edit

Introduced on 25th August 1984 as a service between Bedok and Tampines St 22 (loop).
On 29th January 1988, extended to Tampines Int, skipping Tampines St 22. At the same time, re-routed to start from Tampines Int, looping at Bedok Int.
On 19th November 2011, amended to serve Bedok North Rd and Bedok North Ave 2, skipping Bedok North St 1 & Bedok North Ave 3.

Service 19Edit

Introduced in 1980 as a service between Siglap Road and Prince Edward Road.
On 12th May 1980, converted to peak-hour one-directional service.
Withdrawn on 11th August 1981.

Re-introduced on 19th June 1988 as a service between Bedok and Pasir Ris (loop).
In 1990, merged with Service 4 and withdrawn.

Re-introduced on 29th November 1992 as a service between Tampines and Changi Airport Cargo Cplx (loop).

Service 20Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Fidelio St/Aida St and Commonwealth Avenue/North Buona Vista Rd. On 3rd February 1974, amended to Kampong Chai Chee.
On 15th January 1978, amended to Jln Sultan, Victoria St and Kallang Rd, skipping Jln Kuantan and Jln Sumbawa.
On 7th March 1977, extended to Ghim Moh.
On 25th February 1979, amended to Bedok when Bedok Interchange was opened. Alternate trips were introduced towards Ghim Moh Terminal.

Its alternate route was:
1) Siglap Rd, Changi Rd and back to normal route to Ghim Moh. (no distinctive markings on the side service plates)
2) Siglap Rd, Siglap Dr, Frankel Ave and back to Changi Rd normal route to Ghim Moh.

Trips plying Frankel Ave have distinctive yellow bold text marked "FRANKEL" in both English and Chinese text on both left and right sides of the service number on the side service plates. The service plates in the early 1980s contain just the terminal name and the service number in very large font, without indicating the roads served.

All return trips to Bedok will not serve Frankel estate. Green and white coloured side service plates were utilized to distinguish the direction of travel. Green denotes towards Ghim Moh & white denotes towards Bedok Int.

Withdrawn on 5th November 1989.

Re-introduced in 1994 as a service between Sims Place and St. George's Estate (loop).
In Nov 2000, merged with Service 125 and withdrawn.

Re-introduced on 9th June 2013 as a service between Tampines and Changi Business Pk (loop), under the LTA's Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).
