Service 61Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between MacPherson Est and Alexandra Rd/Pasir Panjang Rd.
On 2nd May 1971, extended to Ulu Pandan Ter.
On 27th September 1987, extended to Bt Batok with the opening of Bt Batok Bus Interchange. Double decker buses were introduced.
On 26th May 1991, extended to Eunos Int via Ubi Ave 2.
Handed over to TIBS on 3rd September 2000.

Service 62Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between MacPherson Est and Alexandra Hill Est (Rumah Tinggi).
On 5th November 1989, extended to Hougang Int.
On 23rd May 1993, shortened to New Bridge Rd Ter, with the amendment of Service 63.
On 7th December 2003, extended to Punggol Temp Int. At the same time, shortened to loop at Lor 1 Geylang/Sims Ave, as part of the NEL Rationalisation Phase 3.

Service 63Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Alexandra Rd to MacPherson Estate.
On 15th February 1981, amended to Bt Merah Int.
On 22th January 1984, double deckers were fully introduced.
On 26th May 1991, amended to loop at MacPherson Estate.
On 23rd May 1993, shortened to start from Rumah Tinggi Ter.
Double deckers were removed from the service when it became fully air-conditioned in 1998.
In Nov 2002, merged with Service 382 and extended to Eunos Int via Ubi Ave 1. At the same time, amended to start from Eunos Int.

Service 63MEdit

Introduced on 12th March 2012 as a service between Eunos and Circuit Rd (loop), replacing Shortworking Trip 63A.
Initially operated from 0625 to 0930 and from 1550 to 1855 hours on weekdays & 0010 to 0025 hours on all days.
On 13th July 2014, operating hours were revised from 0535 to 0030 hrs daily under the LTA's Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

Service 64Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between MacPherson Estate and Commonwealth Ave.
On 24th February 1974, amended to Grange Rd, Orchard Blvd, Paterson Rd and Orchard Rd.
On 2nd December 1979, shortened to loop at Mei Chin Estate, after Service 14 was amended to Jln Bukit Merah.
On 28th June 1992, extended to terminate at Sims Place Ter. At the same time, skipping Orchard Rd/Orchard Blvd and Tanglin Rd and replacing the deleted sectors of Service 198.
On 16th October 2011, with the closure of a section along Bencoolen St for the construction of the Downtown Line, this service was amended to serve Middle Rd & Bencoolen St.

Service 65Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Gagak Selari Barat (Lower Delta) and MacPherson Estate.
On 24th February 1974, amended via Grange Rd, Orchard Blvd, Paterson Rd and Paterson Hill.
On 12th April 1987, re-routed as a Tampines - World Trade Centre service. At the same time double deckers were introduced.
On 16th October 2011, with the closure of a section along Bencoolen St for the construction of the Downtown Line, this service was amended to serve Middle Rd & Bencoolen St.

Service 66Edit

Introduced on 17th December 1989 as a service between Tampines and Jurong East.
On 26th May 1991, shortened to Bedok Int.
On 4th September 2011, calls at a new bus stop at Botanic Gdns Stn along Bt Timah Rd.

Service 67Edit

Introduced on 26th May 1991 between Tampines Interchange and Choa Chu Kang Interchange.
On 23rd May 1993, merged with Service 4 and amended to ply Tampines Ave 5 & 1, Bedok North Ave 3, New Upper Changi Road, Changi Road and Lavender St.
Handed over to TIBS on 26th December 1999.

Service 68Edit

Introduced on 16th June 2003 as a peak hour loop service between Tampines - Tampines Ind Park A (Tampines St 92).
On 18th October 2004, the last morning trip was revised from 0930 to 0920.
Withdrawn on 11th August 2008.

Introduced on 18th September 1995 as a service between Tampines and Bedok (loop) via Temasek Polytechnic.

Service 70Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Jalan Kayu and Lor 5 Geylang. Former Service 1 of Paya Lebar Bus Service.
On 13th May 1977, extended to Shenton Way.
On 16th January 1978, skipped Piccadilly and Seletar West Camp, following the introduction of Services 214E and 214W.
On 3rd May 1992, extended to Yio Chu Kang Terminal, replacing Service 71 and converted to a full day service on weekdays and Saturday peak hours.
A variant Service 70# was introduced to operate during Weekday nights, Saturdays PM hours and Sunday/Public Holidays between Yio Chu Kang and Geylang Lor 1 Terminal.
On 16th October 2000, Service 70# was extended to loop at Suntec City. Service 70# was renumbered to Service 70X.
On 15th July 2001, amended to ply Yio Chu Kang Rd and Boundary Rd, skipping Yio Chu Kang Link due to upgrading of the junction of Boundary Rd and Upp Serangoon Rd to a multi-tier flyover.
On 21st June 2003, amended to ply Serangoon Central and Upp Serangoon Rd as part of NEL Rationalisation Phase 1.
On 28th January 2008, Service 70X was renamed to Service 70M.

Service 71Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Yio Chu Kang Rd (near Upp Thomson Rd) and Lor 5 Geylang.
On 13th May 1977, extended to terminate at Lor 1 Geylang.
On 4th November 1979, amended to Old Upp Thomson Rd Ter.

Its route was:
Geylang Lor 1 Ter, Geylang Rd, Kallang Rd, Sims Ave, Paya Lebar Rd, Upp Paya Lebar Rd, Upp Serangoon Rd, Yio Chu Kang Rd, Old Upp Thomson Rd and Old Upp Thomson Ter.

Old Upp Thomson Ter, Old Upp Thomson Rd, Yio Chu Kang Rd, Upp Serangoon Rd, Upp Paya Lebar Rd, Paya Lebar Rd, Geylang Rd and Geylang Lor 1 Ter.

Withdrawn on 3rd May 1992.

Service 72Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Serangoon Gardens and Tanjong Rhu.
On 13th March 1988, amended to Serangoon Bus Interchange.
Withdrawn on 3rd May 1992 with the amendment of Service 158 to Tanjong Rhu.

Re-introduced in 1996 as a weekday peak hours service between Yio Chu Kang Terminal and Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 (Seagate).
In 1998, merged with Service 80 and extended to Tampines.
On 21st June 2003, amended to ply Hougang Central, under NEL rationalisation Phase 1.

Service 73Edit

Introduced on 16th June 1971 as a service from Yio Chu Kang Rd (near Upp Thomson Rd) to Tanjong Pagar Road.
On 3rd February 1974, shortened to Toa Payoh Town Centre.
On 4th November 1979, amended to Old Upp Thomson Rd Ter.
On 16th March 1980, amended to loop at Old Upp Thomson Rd.
On 24th January 1988, cutback to Yio Chu Kang Terminal via Ang Mo Kio St 64, St 63 and Ang Mo Kio Ave 9/6.
On 20th September 1992, amended to loop at Serangoon North Ave 4 from Toa Payoh Interchange.
On 5th December 1993, extended to Ang Mo Kio Interchange and re-routed to start from Ang Mo Kio Int instead of Toa Payoh Int.

Service 74Edit

Introduced on 16th July 1979 as a service between Ang Mo Kio and Clementi.
Used to ply Clementi Ave 2 in one direction (towards Ang Mo Kio), in return journey, turned right into C'wealth Ave West from Clementi Rd.
On 8th March 1988, amended to Clementi Ave 3.
On 10th June 1990, extended to Upper Serangoon Ter, via Hougang Ave 2 and Hougang Ave 8.
In 1993, an alternate variant of Service 74, known as Service 74A was introduced between Upp Serangoon and Ang Mo Kio MRT.
On 5th December 1993, merged with Service 202 and amended to Buona Vista Ter.
On 17th December 1994, amended to Hougang Central Interchange, together with Service 74A.
On 8th January 1995, Service 74A was withdrawn.

Service 75Edit

Introduced on 15th June 1981 as Clementi - Anson Rd service, as a split route from Service 191, which will only run at Orchard Rd and skipping Shenton Way.
On 20th September 1981, extended to loop at Empress Place.

Its route was:
Clementi Int, (Clementi Ave 3), Commonwealth Ave West, Clementi Ave 2, (Clementi Rd), Ulu Pandan Rd, Holland Rd, Napier Rd, Grange Rd, Irwell Bank Rd Kim Seng Rd, Outram Rd, Cantonment Rd, Anson Rd, Robinson Rd, (Collyer Quay, Fullerton Rd), Empress Pl, (St. Andrew's Rd, Beach Rd, Bras Basah Rd, Nicoll Highway), Connaught Dr, Collyer Quay, Raffles Quay, Shenton Way, (Keppel Rd), Cantonment Link, Cantonment Rd, Outram Rd, Tiong Bahru Rd, Zion Rd, Hoot Kiam Rd, Grange Rd, Napier Rd, Holland Rd, Ulu Pandan Rd, (Clementi Rd), Clementi Ave 2, Commonwealth Ave West, (Clementi Ave 3) and Clementi Int.

On 30th November 1986, extended to Marina Centre Terminal following the opening of Marina Square.
On 8th March 1988, amended to Clementi Ave 3.
On 31st July 1988, amended to serve Choa Chu Kang New Town via Clementi Rd, Upp Bt Timah Rd, Cashew Rd, Petir Rd, Pending Rd, Choa Chu Kang Rd, Choa Chu Kang Way, Choa Chu Kang Ave 1, Teck Whye Ave, Choa Chu Kang Ter.
On 10th March 1990, extended to Choa Chu Kang Interchange via Choa Chu Kang Dr, Choa Chu Kang Loop & Choa Chu Kang Int.
On 16th December 1990, amended to use Choa Chu Kang Way instead of Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 and Choa Chu Kang Drive. On 3rd January 1993, amended to Bukit Panjang Ter following the introduction of Service 179.
Handed over to TIBS on 6th August 1995.

Service 76Edit

Introduced on 1st November 1981 as a service between Clementi and Jurong East Avenue 1 (loop).

Its route was:
Clementi Int, (Clementi Ave 3), Commonwealth Ave West, Boon Lay Way, Jurong East Central, Jurong East Ave 1, Jurong Town Hall Rd, Boon Lay Way, Commonwealth Ave West, (Clementi Ave 3) and Clementi Int.

On 30th June 1985, re-routed to start from Jurong East Bus Interchange and loop at Clementi Bus Interchange.

Its route was:
Jurong East Int, (Jurong East St 13), Jurong East Ctrl, Boon Lay Way, Commonwealth Ave West, (Clementi Ave 3), Clementi Int, (Clementi Ave 3), Commonwealth Ave West, Boon Lay Way, Jurong East Ctrl, (Jurong East St 13) and Jurong East Int.

Withdrawn on 5th November 1988.

Re-introduced on 5th March 1989 as a service between Yio Chu Kang and Marine Parade.
On 3rd May 1992, amended to ply Paya Lebar Rd, Tanjong Katong Rd and Amber Rd, instead of Ubi Ave 2, Eunos Link, Jln Eunos and Still Rd.
On 16th September 2001, amended to loop at Siglap Link with the closure of Marine Parade Terminal.
On 30th January 2011, amended to loop at Marine Terrace, skipping the Marine Parade Rd stretch between Marine Terrace and Victoria School.

Service 77Edit

Introduced on 17th August 1980 as a service between Ang Mo Kio and Bencoolen St (loop).
Withdrawn on 16th March 1986.

Re-introduced in 1995 as a service between Marina Centre to Farrer Road (loop).
In 1996, extended to Bt Batok Int, skipping Farrer Rd.
Handed over to TIBS on 18th June 2000.

Service 78Edit

Introduced on 16th November 1980 as a service between Clementi Int and Commonwealth Ave (loop).
Withdrawn on 28th February 1983.

Re-introduced on 19th June 1988 as a service between Jurong East and Clementi Ave 3 (loop) via Jurong Town Hall Road, Teban Gardens Road, Penjuru Road, Jln Buroh, West Coast Rd, Clementi Ave 2 and Commonwealth Ave West.
On 1st July 1990, enhanced to serve Pandan Rd, replacing Service 245.
In 2001, amended to West Coast Rd, skipping a pair of bus stop along Penjuru Rd, when parts of Teban Gardens Rd were closed.
On 12th May 2002, amended to skip Teban Gardens Rd in one direction (towards Jurong East) and instead ply West Coast Rd.
On 4th September 2004, amended to ply Pandan Ave (towards Clementi) with 2 stops and skips 1 stop along Pandan Rd.
On 3rd April 2005, amended to ply West Coast Rd in both directions, skipping Teban Gardens altogether.

Service 79Edit

Introduced on 27th February 1983 as a service between Jurong East and Shenton Way.
On 30th June 1985, amended to Jurong East Interchange.
On 30th November 1986, extended to Marina Centre Terminal following the opening of Marina Square.
Withdrawn on 18th December 1988.

Re-introduced on 24th May 1992 as service between Jurong East and Boon Lay (loop).
In 1995, amended into Chin Bee Ave, Third Chin Bee Rd, International Rd and Quality Rd in both directions, with the amendment of Service 246.
In 2001, amended to West Coast Rd, skipping a pair of bus stop along Penjuru Rd, when parts of Teban Gardens Rd were closed.

Service 80Edit

Introduced on 11th April 1971 as a service between Tampines Rd and Prince Edward replacing STC Service 4.
On 15th January 1978, amended to Jln Sultan, Victoria St and Kallang Rd, skipping Jln Kuantan and Jln Sumbawa.
Withdrawn in 1986.

Re-introduced as a service between Tampines and Hougang Central on 3rd September 1996.
In 1998, merged with Service 72 and withdrawn.

Re-introduced on 12th December 1999 as a service between Sengkang and World Trade Centre (HarbourFront), with the merger of Services 84 and 864.
