Service 2 Edit

This svc was originally plying from Changi Village to Buona Vista.
1981: With the break-up of Upp Changi Rd due to the construction of Changi Airport, route amended via Upp Changi Rd (Changi Village Rd), Loyang Ave, Loyang Way, Upp Changi Rd (North) in both directions.
1981: Route amemded to ply the whole stretch of Jln Bukit Merah instead of via Outram Rd,Tiong Bahru Rd, Henderson Rd in both directions.
Was shortened to ternminate at New Bridge Rd Terminal instead of Buona Vista Terminal due to MRT rationalization.
Amended to ply:
- (Direction 1) Kallang Rd, Victoria St, Hill St, Eu Tong Sen St and New Bridge Rd Terminal instead of Kallang Rd, Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, South Bridge Rd, Neil Rd, (Eu Tong Sen St) and New Bridge Rd Terminal.

Service 3 Edit

Originally a semi-express loop svc between Bedok Interchange and New Bridge Rd.
Express sector along Geylang Rd, Guillemard Rd, Nicoll Highway, Connaught Dr and Stamford Rd towards New Bridge Rd; Victoria St, Bras Basah Rd, Nicoll Highway, Guillemard Rd, Lor 22 Geylang, Aljunied Rd and Sims Ave towards Bedok.
Express sector shortened to just between Changi Rd (after Still Rd) and Geylang Rd (before Moutbatten Rd) and henceforth proceed via Kallang Rd, Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, South Bridge Rd, Neil Rd and New Bridge Rd. Return trip via New Bridge Rd, Hill St, Victoria St, Kallang Rd followed by express sector along Sims Ave between Geylang Lor 1 and Jln Eunos; after which normal run resumes for the rest of the journey to Bedok Interchange.
Express sector abolished by 1985 and it became a full air-conditioned service later that year.
1987: Route extended to Jurong East Interchange via Jln Bt Merah, Queensway, Commonwealth Ave, Commonwealth Ave West, Boon Lay Way and Jurong East Central. Slight amendment via Upp Cross St and New Bridge Rd, instead of Neil Rd, towards Jurong East.
Withdrawn due to MRT rationalization.
Re-introduced back as the combination of svcs 294 & 357, plying from Tampines to Pasir Ris St 71 (Loop).
This svc was extended to Punggol Ctrl (Loop).
This svc was further extended to terminate at Punggol Temp Int.

Service 4 Edit

This svc was originally plying from Bedok to Moulmein Rd (Loop).
Was extended from Moulmein Rd to terminate at St Michael's Terminal in the period of late 80s / early 90s.
Integrated with old svc 19, therefore plying Pasir Ris to St Michael's.
Amended to ply from Tampines to St Michael's in 1992.

Integrated with svc 21 and withdrawn in 1993.

Service 5 Edit

Original route was between Lor 1 Geylang and Upp Bt Timah Rd (os Bt Timah Plaza).
1985: Extended to Zhenghua (now known as Bt Panjang).
Used to ply Queensway, C'wealth Ave, Alexandra Rd, Ganges Ave and Havelock Rd.
Amended in 1992 to ply Holland Ave, C'wealth Ave, Margaret Dr, Alexandra Rd, Lower Delta Rd, Jln Bt Merah, Kampong Bahru Rd and Eu Tong Sen St.
Service 186 was introduced to cover the deleted sectors.
Handed to tibs in 1995. Withdrawn on Sunday 26 Dec 1999.

Service re-introduced by SBS Transit as a Pasir Ris - Bukit Merah route on 11 March 2007.

Service 6 Edit

Originally, a semi-express loop service between Bedok Interchange and New Bridge Rd. Withdrawn circa. 1982/3 and covered by amending the old service 3 route.
Re-introduced in 1993 as a loop service between Pasir Ris interchange and Loyang Crescent.
On Monday 20 Dec 2004, it was amended to ply Loyang Way and Loyang Ave.

Service 7 Edit

This svc was originally a semi-express route between Bedok Interchange and Dempsey Rd (Holland Fringe Car Park).
Route extended to Clementi Interchange circa. 1982/3.
1984: Route extended to Jurong East.
Cut back to Clementi Interchange due to MRT rationalisation. Amended via Clementi Ave 5 instead of Commonwealth Ave West and Clementi Ave 2.
Route was amended to ply:
- (Direction 1) Guillemard Rd, Mountbatten Rd, Geylang Rd, Kallang Rd, Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, Stamford Rd instead of Guillemard Rd, Nicoll Highway, Stamford Rd.
- (Direction 2) Bras Basah Rd, Victoria St, Kallang Rd, (Lor 1 Geylang), Mountbatten Rd, Guillemard Rd instead of Bras Basah Rd, Nicoll Highway, Guillemard Rd.
With opening of Sims Way, route was amended to ply:
- (Direction 1) Guillemard Rd, Sims Way, Geylang Rd instead of Guillemard Rd, Mountbatten Rd, Geylang Rd.
- (Direction 2) Sims Ave, Sims Way, Guillemard Rd instead of Sims Ave, (Lor 1 Geylang), Mountbatten Rd, Guillemard Rd.

Service 8 Edit

Original service was a semi-express route day service between Bedok Interchange and Robinson Road.
Route changed to go via ECP between Bedok South Ave 1 and Prince Edward Rd but returning via St Andrew’s Rd, Beach Rd, Bras Basah Rd, Nicoll Highway, Moutbatten Rd, Fort Rd, ECP and Bedok South Ave 1.
1987: Return trip amemded via Marina Centre before proceeding into ECP. Withdrawn in 1989.
Re-introduced as an air-conditioned service between Pasir Ris to Toa Payoh.
Was amended to ply from Tampines to Toa Payoh in 1992.
Route was amended in 1995 (opening of Temasek Polytechnic) to ply:
- (Direction 1) Tampines Ave 1, (Ave 10), Bedok North Rd, Bedok Reservoir Rd instead of Tampines Ave 1, Bedok Reservoir Rd.
- (Direction 2) Bedok Reservoir Rd, Bedok North Rd, (Tampines Ave 10), Ave 1 instead of Bedok Reservoir Rd, Tampines Ave 1.

Service 9 Edit

Original route was between Lor 1 Geylang and Changi Point (Village).
1981: Breakup of Upp Changi Rd due to Changi Airport construction caused it to be amended via Loyang Ave and Loyang Way.
Integration with 391. Route extended to loop at Changi Airport Cargo Complex.
1987: Amended via Upp Changi Rd East, Simei Rd, Tampines St 31, Ave 2, Ave 7, Loyang Ave. Skipped Bedok Rd, Upp Changi Rd and Loyang Way in both directions.
Cut short to start from Bedok Interchange due to MRT rationalization.
Route was amended to ply:
- (Direction 1) Upper Changi Rd East, Simei Ave, Simei St 3, Simei Rd instead of Upper Changi Rd East, Simei Rd.
- (Direction 2) Simei Rd, Simei St 3, Simei Ave, Upper Changi Rd East instead of Simei Rd, Upper Changi Rd East.
Route was again amended to ply:
- (Direction 1) New Upper Changi Rd, Bedok Rd, Upp Changi Rd, Simei Ave.
- (Direction 2) Simei Ave, Upp Changi Rd, Bedok Rd, New Upper Changi Rd.

Service 10 Edit

This svc was originally between Upp Changi Rd 13.3 km and Jurong Interchange. The former was subsequently moved to new a premise, at 15.5 km, called Somapah Interchange.
Was extended from Somapah to Tampines Ave 5 Terminal in 1983.
Was extended to ply from Tampines Interchange when it opened in 30 August 1987.
Was shortened to ply from Tampines to Clementi when Jurong Interchange closed.
Route was amended to ply:
- (Direction 1) Mountbatten Rd, Tg Katong Rd, Dunman Rd, Old Airport Rd, Mountbatten Rd instead of serving the full stretch of Mountbatten Rd.
- (Direction 2) Mountbatten Rd, Old Airport Rd, Dunman Rd, Tg Katong Rd, Mountbatten Rd instead of serving the full stretch of Mountbatten Rd.
Was further shortened to ply from Tampines to Kent Ridge.

Service 10e Edit

Introduced on 19 Sept 2005 to provides a faster travel between places where there is a high demand by calling at fewer stops.
Plying between East Coast and Shenton Way, will ply one way to Shenton Way(Temasek Tower) during the morning peak and from Anson Rd(Apex Tower) back to East Coast during the evening peak.

Service 11 Edit

This svc was originally plying from Somapah to New Bridge Rd.
Upon completion of the New Bridge Rd Terminal on 6th June 1987, this service was amended to use the new terminal instead of temporary roadside bus stops along New Bridge Rd.
Was withdrawn in 1989 due to closure of Somapah Terminal.
Re-introduced back to ply from Lor 1 Geylang to Kallang Park (Loop).
Route was amended to ply Mountbatten Rd, (Nicoll Highway), Stadium Rd, Stadium Boulevard, Mountbatten Rd instead of Mountbatten Rd, Stadium Boulevard, u-turn at roundabout and return via Stadium Boulevard, Mountbatten Rd.
Route was again amended due to building of the Circle Line, to ply along Stadium Rd, Stadium Walk, Stadium Boulevard.
With opening of Sims Way, route was amended to ply:
- (Direction 1) Sims Ave, Sims Way, (Nicoll Highway) instead of (Lor 1 Geylang), Mountbatten Rd, (Nicoll Highway).
- (Direction 2) Mountbatten Rd, Sims Way, Geylang Rd.

Service 12 Edit

This svc was originally plying from Somapah to Commonwealth Ave (Buona Vista).
Was extended from Somapah to Pasir Ris and to terminate at New Bridge Rd instead of Buona Vista in 1989.
Amended to ply (Direction 1) Kallang Rd, Victoria St, Hill St, Eu Tong Sen St and New Bridge Rd Terminal instead of Kallang Rd, Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, South Bridge Rd, Upp Cross St, New Bridge Rd and New Bridge Rd Terminal.
With opening of Sims Way, route was amended to ply:

Chai Chee Ter, New Upp Changi Rd, Changi Rd, Geylang Rd, Kallang Rd, Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, Stamford Rd, Orchard Rd, Penang Rd, Somerset Rd, Orchard Boulevard, Grange Rd, Tanglin Rd, Alexandra Rd, Commonwealth Ave, Ghim Moh Rd and Ghim Moh Ter.

Extended from Chai Chee to Bedok with the closure of Chai Chee Terminal.
Route was amended, to terminate at Yio Chu Kang instead of Ghim Moh and Eunos instead of Bedok.
Service 13 was extended to terminate at Marine Parade.
Amended to loop at Siglap Link on 16th Sept 2001 with the closure of Marine Parade Terminal, before being extended to terminate at Upp East Coast Terminal on the 9th Dec 2001.
Upper East Coast Terminal did not have facilities for boarding and alighting of passengers until it was officially opened on 4th Aug 2002.

Service 14 Edit

This svc was originally between Upp Changi Rd 13.3 km (later moved to new premise at 15.5 km, named Somapah Interchange) and Mei Chin Rd via Napier Rd, Tanglin Rd, Alexandra Rd, C’wealth Ave, Stirling Rd.
1980: Route amended via Napier Rd, Holland Rd, Queensway, Jln Bt Merah, Henderson Rd, Bt Merah Ctrl and terminating Bt Merah Interchange.
1989: Extended to Changi Village Terminal with the closure of Somapah Terminal.
Svc was amended to terminate at Bedok Interchange instead of Changi Village Terminal.
Integration with svc 92. Sector between Bt Merah Interchange and Tanglin Rd/Orchanrd Blvd at the junction of Paterson Rd deleted. Amended sector took the route of sv. 92 (which was withdrawn) between Paterson Rd and Clementi Interchange. Deleted sector was replaced by 123.

Introduced on Dec 2005 to provide a faster travel between places where there is a high demand by calling at fewer stops.
Plying between Bedok North Ave 3(Blk 403) and Orchard Rd, will ply one way to Orchard Rd(Lucky Plaza) during the morning peak and from Orchard Rd(Lucky Plaza) back to Bedok North Ave 3(Blks 139/140) during the evening peak.

Service 15 Edit

Originally a loop service between Marine Terrace (later moved to Marine Parade Terminal) and Shenton Way. Combined with 196 around 1982. The new route took the number 196 so sv 15 disappeared.
Re-introduced as a FAC between Pasir Ris interchange and Eunos interchange.
In 1997, it merged with service M4 and extended to Marine Parade.
It used to ply Marine Cres in both directions and Marine Terrace towards Pasir Ris, sectors deleted later and was replaced by svc 13

Service 16 Edit

This service originally ply between Bukit Merah Interchange and Marine Parade Terminal.
Merged with service 149 and extended to Changi Airport PTB in 1993.
In 1994, introduced Express Service 16E, which plies along ECP. Express Service 16E was renumbered 36 in 1998.
In Sep 1998, shortened back to Marine Parade terminal with the amendments of Svc 36 to Changi Airport PTB.
Amended to loop at Siglap Link on 16th Sept 2001 with the closure of Marine Parade Terminal.
In Feb 2002, amended to ply Stadium Walk/Stadium Cres due to construction of Circle Line.
From Sunday 19 August 2007, extended to Bedok Interchange via Upper East Coast Rd, Bedok South Ave 1, Bedok South Rd, Bedok North Ave 1.

Officially became a monopoly to Bedok North Ave 4 when svc 227 withdrawn in 2002
Becomes loop service in 2003 and introduced Double Decker Bus.

Service 18 Edit

Before Tampines Int was opened, svc 18 was actually a Bedok - Tampines St 22 loop service.
Extended to Tampines Int when it opened and ply via Tampines Ave 2, Ave 7, Central 3 and Central 1, skipping Tampines St 22 totally and becoming a loop service between Tampines and Bedok Interchanges.
No route change since then.

Service 19 Edit

This svc originally ply between Pasir Ris and Bedok Int. Merged with svc 4 in 1989 and withdrawn.
Reintroduced again in 1993, when service 29 was shortened from CACC to Changi Village.
Loop service between Tampines interchange and CACC. No route change.
Becomes partial aircon service in 1998.
Change back to fully aircon service in 2004

Service 20 Edit

This service plies between Kampong Chai Chee and Ghim Moh in the 70s and subsequently Bedok Int and Ghim Moh in the 1980s.

In the 80s, there were alternate trips (in the direction of Ghim Moh only):
from Fidelio St, alternate trips ply via
1) Siglap Rd, Changi Rd and back to normal route to Ghim Moh
2) Siglap Rd, Siglap Dr, Frankel Ave and back to Changi Rd normal route to Ghim Moh.

Trips plying 1) have no distinctive markings on the side service plates.

Trips plying Frankel Ave have distinctive yellow bold text marked "FRANKEL" in both English and Chinese text on both left and right sides of the service number on the side service plates. The service plates in the early 1980s contain just the terminal name and the service number in very large font, without indicating the roads served.

All return trips to Bedok will not serve Frankel estate. Green and white coloured side service plates were utilized to distinguish the direction of travel. Green denotes towards Ghim Moh & white denotes towards Bedok Int.

The Bedok-Ghim Moh route was withdrawn due to MRT rationalisation

Re-introduced again in 1994 as a loop service between Sims Place terminal and St. George estate.
Use minibus in the past.
Merged with service 125 in 2000 and withdrawn.
